The poor bride!!

Brides I welcome the opportunity to have this blog as I can share with you what goes on in the chair cover world. The following happened today, and I just got to share it with you!!!

I got a phone-call today at 2.30pm from a major hotel one that I do alot of business with. There was another chair cover provider there and guess what THE CHAIR COVERS DON’T FIT THE CHAIRS.

The poor bride. She has 160 guests attending her wedding expecting them to walk into the ballroom and see ivory chair covers with gold bows.

I cannot stress enough the importance of the bride checking with the chair cover provider do the chair covers fit the chairs in the hotel her reception is taking place. This episode does separate the wheat from the chaft as regards the professionalism of chair cover providers out there. It is a golden rule never go to a hotel to put on chair covers on the day of a wedding without having done your research first. Go and check do your covers fit the chairs in advance.

Booking your chaircovers

So brides you want to book your chaircovers.

The process is very simple, you can complete the online enquiry form and we will email you back within 24hours with a quotation. Or you can email anne@weddingchaircovers.ie or telephone 0872402782.

As we get booked up some time in advance, we have brides booking chair covers with us for 2010 weddings, lets start talking now as we need to check availibility. If your date is available we then take your details, contact information, approximate number of guests and prefered choice for chair cover colour and sash colour. Some brides have not made up their mind on sash colour maybe waiting until they have bought their bridesmaids dresses. That is something we can always leave to nearer the wedding, and we can send you samples of sashs to make sure we have got the colour right, or we send a few samples to let you see the various options available.

We do not recommend holding off booking your chair covers until after you have bought your bridemaids dresses. We would always recommend you book your chair covers as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. As for the number of chair covers you require we do not need to know the exact numbers to the week before the wedding, so you are not paying for chair covers that you don’t need. We work out the final balance due at that stage.

Once you have paid the booking deposit that will be the date held for you.

Wedding Chair Covers works closely with all the wedding venues in the North West of Ireland so we know the various sizes of chairs out there. If by any chance we are not sure of a chair size, then we go to the venue to try out the size as we have 5 different sizes to choose from.
