North West Weddings

Weddings in rural locations are becoming very popular. The entire weekend to celebrate the wedding in a location away from home is now very popular. All the wedding guests get the opportunity to go away for the weekend to a different location and celebrate the wedding over a 2/3 day period. The party continues for a couple of days rather than allowing the guests to return home the night of the wedding. Venues in the North West region tend to offer better value for money than those in our cities. The North West area is also popular for its castles and hotels located on lake shores allowing for tremendous photo opportunities.

The challenge for the bride is organizing local suppliers in the wedding location. The wedding venue should have a list of their recommended suppliers. We suggest that brides use this list in the first instance as most of these suppliers will have a proven track record with the hotel. Brides frequently visit the hotel on the run up to the wedding day for food and wine tastings, wedding fairs and to see other wedding setups. They should use these visits to meet with the other suppliers they will need to engage.

So many options to choose from!!!

The lovely thing is that since the introduction of venue dressing for the wedding has really come onto the market there are so many options for the bride to choose from.

As one of the leading wedding event specialists in the North West area we are involved in creating a range of wedding decor styles. These can range from high to low budget styles. Many brides just want that simple classical stlyle, chair covers with no bows but incorporate the colour theme through table overlays instead. This is another option to make your wedding that liitle bit different from others. In fact the more simple style is most popular at present.

At Wedding Chair Covers based in Drumkeeran in County Leitrim our most popular sash colours are ivory or white. Brides don’t really want to co-ordinate with the bridemaids dresses any more as they feel it is too sazzy and overpowering.
