The Fairylight Backdrop is an excellent alter backdrop for a Civil Ceremony wedding. We at Wedding Chair Covers in Drumkeerin Co. Leitrim have seen a big increase in Civil Ceremony weddings. We are hiring chair covers and Fairylight Backdrops for Civil Ceremony weddings on a weekly basis, whereas a couple of years ago it would have been one a month.

We do have some surplus black chairs that have only been used a couple of times. They are a lovely quality fabric, I am happy to send you a sample to make sure they fit your particular chair. They fit the smaller banquetting chair and we have 300 covers in stock though we will sell off in smaller lot sizes. They wash really well and require miminal ironing.

Both options look really good on the chairs. The pale gold organza sash looks really good in this room as it compliments the wall coverings, centre pieces and room decor. Having said that we have used alll different colours of sashes from orange, chocolate brown, deep plum, ivory to wine, and they all look good. Its really down to the personal preference of the bride if she wants to tie in with the bridesmaids dresses or go for a neutral theme.

A big congratulations to all the team in the Radisson Blu Sligo for a first class event. A Wedding Olympics was held on 10/10/2010 to announce the winners of the Win A Wedding Competition, where the winners Orna Mc Gowan and Thomas Mc Andrew have won a free wedding on the 11/11/2011.

The day started off with a champagne breakfast reception for 20 shortlisted entrants, followed by interviews from a select panel of judges, further shortlisting, then Wedding Olympic games to finally arrive at the winning couple. The event ran with true professionalism, was very entertaining and had a nerve wreaking final. Based on the TVshow Mr & Mrs the final two couples had to answer questions about themselves. The first question, name the subject your financee disliked most at school, both couples got it right. Second question, name the book your partner last read, and again both couples got it right. Third question and the one that determined the winner, name the person your partner thinks she is most like, and Orna wrote down Cheryl Cole which was the answer that won both her and Thomas the wedding of their dreams in the Radisson BLU Sligo next November.

Many congratulations to Orna and Thomas the winning couple. Also to Fergus, Arlene, Denise, Pavel and all the team at the Radisson Blu Sligo. A big congratulations to Orna Mc Gowan from Sligo and finacee Thomas Mc Andrew from Castlebar who won the Win A Wedding competition run by the Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo. The winners were announced on the 10/10/2010 at a first class event held at the hotel and have won a free wedding to be held on the 11/11/2011.

From the 120 couples you entered the competition, it was shortlisted to 20 couples through text voting. Then on 10/10/2010 the finalists battled in out to win the Gold Medal Prize. After interviews with a select panel of judges, the shortlisting continued until 6 couples battled it out in a Wedding Olympics. Games included decorating a cake, a singing competition and a nerve wreaking Mr & Mrs final.

The Radisson Blu in Sligo enlisted the services of some of the very best in wedding suppliers in the region to create a truly unforgettable wedding for the winning couple.
