Sligo Southern Wedding Fair

Well if you are tired of eating and sitting by the fire and want to get out and about, why not check out the Wedding Fair that will take place at the Sligo Southern Hotel, Strandhill Road Sligo on Monday 27th December 2010. The fair starts at 3pm and should run through to 6pm. All the leading wedding suppliers in the North West will be there. So if you just got engaged at Christmas or planning your wedding in 2011, this is the perfect opportunity to see all the wedding suppliers in the one place.

Chair Covers You Pay Final Numbers Only

I always tell brides when they are requesting a quotation for seat covers for their wedding that they pay for final numbers only. This is a very fair deal for those getting married. Brides please beware when booking chair covers for your wedding that this important point is clarified with the supplier. Many brides when they book chair covers 12/9/6 months in advance of their wedding tell us their approximate guest numbers. In reality proposed guest numbers normally fall by 15%. We liaise with the bride right up to the day before her wedding and she is only charged for what she uses on the day. I am aware that some chair cover companies request payment 2 weeks in advance of the wedding and the bride has to determine her final numbers at that stage. We at Wedding Chair Covers in Leitrim do not operate this way.

This cold weather spell has prompted me to write this blog. I have one wedding this Thursday in the Greater Sligo area. The bride gave me guest numbers of 170 chair covers. This morning her numbers have gone down to 112, as many guests fear travelling due to the road conditions. This is a substantial drop in guest numbers but one we are prepared to accept.
