Markree Castle Weddings

The wedding Open Day at Markree Castle was a great success with many couples and their extended families coming along to see how the Castle is normally dressed for a wedding. The Castle looked magnificant and I believe many couples actually booked their wedding on the day. The attraction of a 10% discount for all weddings booked on the day was too good an offer not to miss. On this cold January day, the offer of mulled wine, delicious canapees, tea/coffee and home made biscuits as guests arrived was a real treat.

Fairylight Backdrop Sligo Southern Hotel

Wedding Day Countdown

For many brides they are on the countdown to their wedding day. Now that 2011 is well underway and the end of January is in sight, the months are rolling by and the big wedding season is rapidly approaching. The key things like the Church, Hotel and Wedding Dresses have been bought. Markree Castle Wedding Fair

Brides if you are out and about this weekend, why not pop along to the Wedding Fair at Markree Castle this Saturday January 22nd 2010.

Brides attending the event will see the chapel located in the Castle dressed for a civil ceremony wedding. The Radisson Sligo will host a 2 Wedding Open Days this weekend January 8th & 9th 2011. The room will be setup for 200 guests, so this will the perfect opportunity for you to see how the room will be setup for a typical wedding.
